Church members sleep rough for Nepal

Five members of the Annandale and Eskdale Presbytery slept in a cardboard hut overnight on Friday (9th September), outside St Andrews Parish Church in Annan, to raise funds for victims of the Nepal earthquake in 2015.

The fundraising effort is part of a project run by the World Mission Council of the Church of Scotland called Let’s Build a House. Each congregation was challenged to raise £500. The money will then go towards rebuilding homes of people affected by the devastating earthquake.

We talked to several people involved in the effort.
