Annan went through to the next round of the Scottish Cup yesterday after beating East Stirlingshire 1-2 away at Ochilview.

East Stirlingshire fought hard and scored first in the 31st minute but Annan bounced back to take it to 1-1 before the break thanks to a David McKenna strike. The second half was pretty even with both sides going close but it was Annan who got there in the end with a last minute goal by substitute Adam Asghar.

Annan now face a long away trip to Formartine United on Saturday 26th November in the 3rd Round.

Manager Jim Chapman had this to say to the press after the match.
