Lockerbie Ice Rink celebrates 50th birthday

Lockerbie Ice Rink has been celebrating its 50th birthday this weekend. On Friday (13th January) organisers held an anniversary Bonspiel and 140 curlers took park including Lorna Vevers who won the 2007 World Championships and was lead for the 2010 Winter Olympics team. She threw the ceremonial first stone to officially open the competition yesterday.

We went along to the Ice Rink and spoke with one of the Directors, Linda Imrie.
